Kelsey Myers
Summer Associate | J.D. Candidate | Public Policy Strategist | Legal Advocate
Kelsey Myers joins Justice Law Collaborative as a summer associate. Currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Harvard Law School, Ms. Myers also maintains a distinguished background in public policy, legislative advocacy, and litigation support. She is actively involved with the Health Law & Policy Clinic at Harvard's Center for Health Policy Innovation, serves as an executive content editor and selections committee member for the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender, and was recently the Chair of Alumni Relations and member of the Executive Board of the Harvard Plaintiffs’ Law Association.
Prior to law school, Kelsey served as a Public Policy and Communications Specialist for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape, where she authored high-impact public statements, coordinated legislative strategy, and contributed to nationally recognized media publications. She played a critical role in responses to pivotal issues such as the Dobbs v. Jackson decision, Victims of Crime Act Reauthorization, and Title IX reforms, and conducted rigorous legal research on various salient topics, including retroactive window statutes concerning child sex abuse and sex work regulatory models.
Last Summer (2024), Kelsey worked as a Summer Associate at Robins Kaplan LLP, where she contributed to high-stakes litigation in areas ranging from healthcare law and civil rights to mass torts and personal injury. Her responsibilities included drafting motions, engaging in direct client communications, and participating in a mock arbitration before a sitting judge.
A magna cum laude graduate of St. Olaf College with dual degrees in Political Science and Economics, Kelsey has also held leadership roles on congressional and presidential campaigns. To continue her advocacy in politics and law, Kelsey has also extensively volunteered and lobbied on behalf of various other causes associated with chronic illness and disability, public services for low-income communities, gender and sexuality issues, reproductive justice, women's leadership, and voting rights.
